Go Twins!

Today is the last home opener for the Twins in the Metrodome. I hear lots of people complaining that it's going to be so cold outside next year....blah, blah, blah. I don't want to hear it. Of course there are going to be some cold games to sit through. We'll be outside, but think about how many of those days will be WARM!! Way more than the cold ones. Bundle up people. If the Sconie's can do it at Lambeau in the middle of winter, I think we can suck it up for a few games in April....and mid-October! Come-on people, really!

Ok, I needed to get that out of my system.

For Owen's birthday, we went to the Egg Hunt in Rosemount. The weather was pretty decent, so you know that means...people came out of the wood-work. Scott and I figured there were more kids there than Walnut Grove as a whole!! Well I checked the paper today and they estimated that there were 750 kids there (not including all the parents). Ya, it was packed! In Owen's age category (1-3) they said there were 2,000 eggs and 8,000 pieces of candy on the softball field. CRAZY! We think Owen had fun. He's been carrying his basket of eggs all around the house. And he's been eating all his licorice. We just laid low the rest of the day, since we'll be celebrating on Easter Sunday with both sides.

Ryan, Melanie, Page and Logan came Saturday evening. Scott woke up early on Sunday to take them to the airport. They were headed to Orlando. Sounds good about now, doesn't it? Maybe we'll get some of that warm sunshine soon too.
