Yesterday was Audrey's 1st birthday. I can't believe that she's 1 already. The time goes so fast. We unfortunately will not be making the trip to Milwaukee for the party this weekend. I am having swelling issues on a daily basis now.
I had my 32 week check-up today. Dr. Song said as long as my swelling goes down over night, then no need to worry. If it doesn't or I have a lot of retention in one day, I should go in to have my BP checked. Hopefully it won't get to that degree.
My BP was 110/70 today. That's the best it's been in a long time. The baby is still measuring a week ahead (cm-wise). No contractions or "weird" stuff going on though, so all good signs.
I honestly feel like this little guy is going to poke out his foot of my belly one of these days. He's so strong or my skin is paper thin. Maybe both. Anyway, I'm getting anxious to meet him. I've noticed he's been getting the hiccups. Not nearly to the degree that Owen had them. But I don't remember when I noticed them either.
Work is getting interesting. My boss is attempting to learn my job as he will be the one doing it while I'm on maternity leave. He might be on the verge of a nervous breakdown. This month he is planning to work on the 5 selects that are due (without my help). Unfortunately, 5 selects is the most we've ever had in one month. Guess it will give him some good practice. Except I know that it's going to get tight and I'll end up having to help just to make our deadlines. I don't think he's ready to take on a regular catalog select on his own, so next week will be very interesting or frustrating. Tomorrow they will talk through the Kotula select...I will be there as a "fly on the wall." That way I know will know their approach if, at last resort, they need my help. I'm really looking forward to it....can you tell? I'd much rather just take the project myself and run with it. It's going to be hard to not put in my two-cents!
