I had my 30 week doctor appointment this morning. My BP is starting to creep up now. It was 132/80. So my dr. recommended that I come in weekly now. This doesn't surprise me one bit, since it was the same with Owen. I am just really hoping I don't have to go on bed rest, but I'm not holding my breath. The baby's heartbeat was steady and strong at 146. It's always reassuring to hear even though I can feel him move (which is very frequent). I don't remember Owen's movements being so strong. I swear my skin feels paper thin some days.
Next Tuesday morning I am going to have another ultrasound to check the growth of the baby. I am measuring 31 at 30 weeks. Dr. Song said it's better to be measuring a little bigger than smaller. Hypertention (high blood pressure) can cause the baby to grow at a slower pace, but that doesn't seem to be the case with me. But we'll know soon enough. I'm excited to take a peek at the little man. I'm curious to find out how long he is and how much he weighs.
On a side note...I bought Owen's winter jacket this week (a 4T!!!!!). I wasn't sure if it was going to be too big (in the arms), so I had him try it on tonight. Well it fits pretty darn good. We told him he'd get to wear his coat when it got cold and it snows. He was ready for the snow to start right now! I had to tell him we'd check in the morning to see if there was snow just so he'd take it off!
