The weather was just too nice out this morning so we decided to get ready and head for the zoo. We were there at 9, when they opened. We've found it's best to go before the crowds and the heat hits. Plus it's helpful that we don't feel like we have to see every animal there since we have season passes. Owen really enjoys watching all the different animals. Today the baby monkeys were quite silly jumping from the tree branches and chasing each other. The sea otters were each swimming with large blocks of ice. We walked out to the "farm" for the first time this year too. Owen was a little hesitant about feeding the goats. He kept telling Daddy it was his turn. After about 2 hours, we thought we'd go to Noodles and grab a bite to eat. Well on the way out Owen stopped at the water fountain with the dolphin sculptures. He was drenched by the time we left! We took his shirt off in the car. Scott went in and got our food so we could eat it at home. He was one hungry little dude. He just kept shoveling in his noodles. It's been a while since I've seen him eat like that. But he did do a lot of walking at the zoo (another good reason to go in the morning when the crowds are small!)
I've made it through 2 concerts and have one more tonight. Missa Solmnis is truly a marathon. I am even fortunate enough to get to sit during the entire performance, but my back doesn't enjoy it. All the girls at chorale think I've having a girl. Since this baby seems to want all the attention with me being the only one in the chorus sitting. (At least I'm right behind a tall trombonist - he sort of hides me well.) Just a few more weeks and we should know...that is unless the baby pulls an "Audrey." : )

I'm hoping you find out what the new little Bielke will be! I'd put in my guess, but it's been too long since I have seen you!
The zoo is fun! That's great you have season passes. So...what is pulling and Audrey? Did Brita not find out what gender she was going to have?
