A Successful Trip

Mom and I took off the day yesterday to go dress shopping for Ashton and Marcie's wedding. We headed to the Mall of America. First stop was Macy's since we found mom's dress there for Brita's wedding. Well no such luck for her there this time around. I was the winner this time.

Mom picked out a dress for me to try on that I would have never even considered and I ended up buying it! It's black so I'm thinking I have to find a fun color shoe to wear with it. I was originally thinking red, but I've found a VERY affordable pair in purple. So I'm hoping they are comfortable. I've got to go over to DSW and try them on before I order them online (from a different website).

So I'm watching American Idol as I'm writing and noticed that Kara's ponytail does not move. Gross!

Wanna an update on the boys?? I know you do... Will is getting good control of his hands. He loves to suck on his fingers. So much so that he sometimes gags himself. He is loosing most of his hair. He's sporting the bald baby look these days. He has really become more vocal lately too.

Owen is very fond of his brother. It's so sweet how he interacts with him. Owen always says, "Look at my brother," when we get to Randi's in the morning. Grandma Dianne and I took Owen into the dr. for a follow-up appointment after his swollen tonsils and ear infection the previous week. Everything looked good. He is SO good at the dr. It's nice. He got two stickers for being so good. He even had to wear one of them again today. Owen's imagination seems to be growing on a daily basis. Most of his silliness seems to come from watching Little Einsteins. There are usually volcanoes and lava threatening his choo-choo's.

Sounds like I'll be putting Rocket (from Little Einsteins) on Owen's birthday cake. I gave him a choice of Rocket or Buzz Lightyear. I was a big surprised, but think it will be a little easier doing Rocket (a lot less colors to mix, so I'm thankful for that!!). I can't believe Owen will be 3 in a little over a month. Wow.
