A Bunch of Sickies

First of all, Happy Belated Thanksgiving to everyone! Happy Birthday to Mom Anderson on Saturday too! It was a big one....60!

We drove out to Hutch Wednesday night and stayed at Grandpa and Grandma Bielke's. We had a great feast Thursday at noon. Tami, Derek and the kids were there as well as Derald, Mary, Cord and Chanceton. Shelby watched Owen for a lot of the time we were there. That sure was nice!

Friday afternoon, we headed down to the Grandma and Grandpa Anderson's. Owen's cough was getting worse and we had two bad sleeping nights with him. Scott said his throat was starting to hurt. Brita, Matt and Audrey (George too) made good time Friday too (they came from Green Bay). Page and Logan were also staying the night. Logan was sick and looking pretty tired! Bruce and Wendy stopped into see Audrey (and Brita too).

Saturday morning, Beth, Barbara, Brenda, Stacy, Alexis, Amy, Jenna, and Blake stopped into meet their newest cousin, Audrey. Great-Grandma Alice, GGma Eunice and and GGpa Arvid came over in the afternoon. We celebrated Thanksgiving and Grandma Dianne's Birthday. Papa Arlie gave grandma a new necklace and us kids gave her a pendant with all our birthstones on it. There were a few tears, so I'm pretty sure she liked it!

Sunday morning Owen threw-up on Auntie Brita. The drive back to the cities was good. Owen did really well for not feeling good. Scott was feeling worse, but did manage to get a little snooze in on the way home. Fortunately, once we got home, I layed down with Owen on the couch and we took an hour nap. Scott got one too.

Scott's throat looked terrible that night. He went to the clinic at his work this morning. They are perscribing an antibiotic, so that's good. Hopefully it'll make him feel better soon.

Owen had a fever last night and threw-up too. I was up with him every hour last night. So I stopped and got a cappacino on my way into work this morning. He's at daycare this morning and so far so good, no phone calls.

I am writing now because I am transferring a file at work to another company. It takes 45 minutes to do! It's a BIG file. Our database system is down the rest of this week, so it'll be a boring week. I don't have too much to do with out using those specific programs. Because of that, I am going to take advantage of the downtime this afternoon and go home to rest (I am pretty stuffed-up myself). I am going to need it to get through the night if it ends up being like last night. I should be out of here by noon.

Oh, one more thing...Owen now says Owen Scott and Bielke. We haven't gotten him to say all 3 words together and I don't think he know's it's his name that he's saying, but it sure is cute!!
