I totally forgot to say that on Friday I threw a boomerang! It was a little challenging as they were right-handed boomerangs. I didn't quite get it to come back to me, but for my first time I didn't think it went too badly.
My boss actually makes boomerangs. He brought them in Friday and a groups of us from Marketing walked down to the park and attempted to throw them. Two of the guys got pretty good (one of them plays Ultimate Frisbee, so he had one up on the rest of us). My boss showed off a little and caught the boomerang behind his neck. I thought he was going to be-head himself! It was pretty cool. If the weather is good next Friday, we're going to try it again.
