Owen is hilarious. Scott and him are running back and forth from the front door to the patio door. Owen was looking for a ball but it was hiding in the curtains. He says, "ahh, man!" That seems to be his phrase of choice recently. Grandma Dianne had been giving him change to put in his piggy bank on Saturday. He came back and asked for more. When she said she was out, he said his new catch phrase..."Ahh, man!" We all got a good laugh from that one!
So just a few seconds ago, Owen wanted me to army crawl with him and Daddy on the floor!! WHAT? That didn't go so well (for me anyway).
Owen had a lot of fun with Grandma and Papa Anderson and Great-Grandma Alice this weekend. He took a 2 1/2 hour nap again today. It was a little more challenging getting him down today though. We got to see Ash and Marcie for lunch. We helped them move into their new apartment in Bloomington this weekend. We're very excited that they are closer to us now. It'll be a 25 minute drive instead of a 45 minute drive! YEAH!
We're too tired to come up with something creative here...this could be a foresight into the future of this blog...God help all who read it!

Friday Anyone?
Is it Friday yet? It's been a long week and I need a weekend. Though I know this one is going to by in a snap. We will be helping Ash and Marcie move into their apartment on Saturday. Hopefully we can get it done in one day so I have a day to catch up on everything at home. I've been a bit lax lately on cleaning and laundry. I've had 2 nights of fairly good sleep too. That's probably the problem. I seem to be more tired the more rest I get...I WANT MORE!
This weekend Mom and Dad Anderson are coming up to help with the move. Well actually mom will be watching Owen (Grandma Alice is coming too). We'll need Dad muscles to help with the move.
We got our carpets cleaned and our basement fridge delivered today. Our carpets are still a little wet, but it isn't spotted anymore from all Owen's spit-ups. Amazing!

Keep melting snow!
It's nice to see most of the snow melting away. We have the big piles at the end of our driveway and the snow that is always the last to go in the back yard because of the lack of sunshine there. I'm ready for some green grass!
Friday night Brita, Matt, Audrey and George (the dog) stayed over on their way to a wedding in Pequot Lakes. George stayed with us. I think he was very happy to be leaving today. He looked exhausted!
Last night was really cute. Owen got hold of a flashlight and was shinning the light everywhere. Well once George saw it, he went crazy. Owen would run all over and George would chase the light. Owen was laughing so hard he started coughing and almost threw-up! But once he calmed down he was at it again. Scott and I were laughing so hard we were crying because it was so funny listening to Owen.
Owen watched most of WALL-E with us last night too. There is a part of the movie that Wall-e chases a light (ironic, I know), and Owen loved it. He fell asleep about a 1/2 hour before the movie ended.
Audrey is such a little sweetheart and full of smiles. She really likes to be on her back to kick her legs and suck on her toes. I wish we could have seen them more. Tracy, Andy and Danica stopped over to see her too. Dani and Owen had fun playing. Dani kept calling Owen 'baby'. Humm....is there something going on that we don't know about?? LOL!

Raspberries and Ice Cream
If someone wasn't sure if Owen took after his father, you would have no doubt after the raspberries and ice cream from the other night. Scott loves his raspberries and picked up a small container at Cub. After washing them up, Owen saw them and had to have his own bowl too. They didn't last long and he was up looking for more. Scott came with a bowl of ice cream and raspberries...boy did some little boy's eyes light up! Owen quickly jumped on Scott's lap to eat some too. I don't think Scott got many, so he went back to put the rest of the container in his bowl of ice cream. I think Owen ate about 3/4 of them. Scott has since decided that he'll be getting his raspberries from Sam's in the big monsterous containers so he gets some next time!

Thunder
Uncle Ryan and Aunt T - you can both be very proud...
Some of you know that Owen has really taken to ACDC's Thunderstruck. iTunes doesn't carry ACDC, so we picked it up at Best Buy over the weekend. Owen was bopping his head and saying "Thunder" right away.
So this morning we are on our way to daycare and I'm not even a block from the house and I hear Owen say, "Thunder!" Good thing I had the CD in the car, so we cranked up Thunderstruck and sang it twice on the way to Randi's. He knows the song just by the guitar part at the beginning!
